Dear friends, supporters and followers of BOX,
Thank you one more time. Here is all the latest news about BOX. It has a happy ending. We are very grateful.
Box was an official selection at four film festivals. We had our premiere at The Dam Short Film Festival in early 2013 where the Las Vegas Weekly chose it as one of the best films of the festival.
Then, we premiered in New York at the New Filmmakers New York Festival where it was attended to capacity with over 170 guests with parties before and after.
Next, BOX was showcased at the Twin Rivers Media Festival in Asheville, North Carolina, a city everyone enjoys.
And lastly, it rounded up at the Toronto Independent Film Festival this past autumn to appreciative audiences, nestled within the craziness of the Toronto International Film Festival with all its hubbub and movie stars and mania.
BOX was also included in two short Film Markets: Clermont-Ferrand in Central France and The Palm Springs International ShortsFest along with many other high quality shorts.
Finally, BOX has been licensed for a three year agreement with Shorts TV, the Shorts Movie Channel. It had its European broadcast premiere on March 2, 2014.
One of the only companies that acquires short films for distribution for cable, satellite and internet, we are honored and happy to have BOX find its final resting place (for now?) that brings our little-movie-that-could to a few choice continents! –those being Europe and North America.
Thank you, again, from the bottom of our hearts. Without you, BOX would not have opened anywhere. We look forward to making more films using all the latest technologies available to us. Our first time out was a happy doozy!
Yours trulies, with deep gratitude,
Don Cummings & Chris Dolman

So if you are in the Asheville area, jump on in and give BOX a look. It’s always fun to go the festivals. Wish we (the makers) could be there, but it was short notice. Let your Asheville area friends know about the festival. It looks interesting and who knows what else!
